Hi I need help with a complex code

hi so i am programing a complex code where basically an overlay of an arm pushes away a clock
So i basically have the arm pushing away the clock and everything lines up but my problem is that my clock or my clock bells are constantly moving in a speed of/in 0.05 now the arm has to move towards the clock at the SAME time …
I tried using the ampersand BUT its not one command mhggg yeah its complicated …here is the code of just the arm without the clock moving (sry it’s a lot)

it basicly just are the same five lines over and over again for like 300 lines

Have you tried looping the clock bell overlay so that you only use one line for it? Easier to manage-
Say you wanted this to happen 20 times before the arm pushes it (example) The bells will be ringing for 10 seconds
&overlay CLOCK BELLS shifts to x x in zone x in 0.5 THEN overlay CLOCK BELLS shifts to x x in zone x in 0.5 loop 20 times
@pause for 9.5
&overlay ARM shifts to x x in zone x in 0.5 THEN overlay CLOCK BELLS shifts to x x in zone x in S
Just a basic guide of how I would first set the animation up then tweak it from there with timings and rotations.

So i just played around with that for a little bit But sadly theres still a problem before i get started on that here is the code i am talking about:

I didn’t see it was 0.05 so maybe loop it for longer? Maybe like 100+ times? My maths is poor lol I’m assuming the overlay doesn’t move for very long, is that the problem you’re having?

No the problem is that with the very helpful example you sent me it only shifts so when I priviewed it it was doing what it was sopposed to do But it changed the place :grimacing:
so I don’t know how to kinda well do that with scaling AND shifting in one code ? :confused:

Oh I see! Just put the same coding but with scales to and your scale number using the & command so it all happens together. You can’t use AND in a loop command unfortunately.
