Hi! I'm new, send halp

I’ve been reading stories on episode for like 2 years now, and so I thought I’d finally write a story of my own. I’m kinda confused with the coding though, please send help huhu :sob:

  1. how do you make a character lay down at the start of the scene (like without them having to walk to the bed)?
  2. is there a character custom template for limelight?
  3. how does the number thing for spots work? like how do you know what number to use?
  4. what’s the syntax for making a character face left/ right/ back after walking?

 thanks

  1. You have to spot direct them using spot directing here’s a cheat sheet for that by @Apes
    Here-
🆕 SPOT CHEAT SHEET: Episode Bed Spots Templates

  2. You can find customization templates over here by @Dara.Amarie
    Here-
Multiple Character Customization Templates (INK & Limelight)

  3. Spot directing is a means by which you make a character small, or big and those “numbers” are the coordinates for that.
Here is a guide for this as well by @RudeInception
    Here-
    Spot Walking (Walking w/Spot Direction)

  4. SUPPOSE that the character walks to screen right…
so the syntex would be -
@CHAR walks to screen right AND CHAR faces right

And if you want the CHAR that is facing right immediately facing left you just have to use “then” like this-

@CHAR walks to screen right AND CHAR faces right THEN CHAR faces left

Then the CHAR will immediately face to the left as it reaches the place you want it to reach…

Hope this helps you…
