I’m not a huge history buff and don’t know much about any historical events but I am working on writing an episode story that takes place in 1773 a time in which slavery was common (I think). I was wondering if there was anyone available to help me make sure I represent slavery and other actions during that time period properly during the duration of the story.

Hey there! Slavery was common between 1525 and 1867 in Africa and in America it started after 1492 (after Columbus). There are also al lot more places where slavery is still going on.
In 1926 slavery was forbidden.

I was thinking somewhere in Virginia? Although I’m not too sure if that would be an accurate place for it to take place
