Hobbies For Royalty

I’m not really good with knowing royalty, but what are some hobbies for royalty?

I know, Reading, is one. What else?

I was going to ask what time period  they vary a lot depending on when you’re talking

Any kind of time period is fine.

Well in the medieval times for women it would have been things like sewing and dressmaking. Some singing. Some reading, but that was very VERY rare because there weren’t many books. For men some sporty stuff. Hunting, jousting, archery etc

Tudor times would have been poetry, reading, singing etc for women. Men? Sports including Tudor tennis and jousting etc

18th century? Cards and tea rooms for women. Letter writing, a little gambling, reading etc

Men would have spend a lot more time in coffee houses than tea houses
