How can I make my paper overlay animate, like it's falling down?

Hey Everyone!

So I have a sheet paper overlay, and I was just wondering, how could I animate it to look like it’s falling down on the ground?

Ugh I’ve seen a video some time ago which showed all the overlay animations but it’s nowhere to be found :pensive:

Your help will be very appreciated.
Thank you, Vicky.

Hello! I think this is how you do it:

  1. First you create the overlay and place in starting position (maybe at the top of the screen, wherever you want it.)
    Using this format:

&overlay OVERLAY create
&overlay OVERLAY shifts to 140 240
&overlay OVERLAY scales to 0.7 0.7
&overlay OVERLAY opacity 1

  1. Then you add the movement:
    @overlay OVERLAY shifts to 80 240 in 4

  2. Then you can add easing functions.(This is how the overlay will move to the position you have said.)
    @overlay OVERLAY shifts to 140 60 in 1.5 using easebounceout

These are the ones you can choose from: (+ linear)

Hope this helps!
