How Can I Turn Real-Life Backgrounds into Episode Backgrounds?

There are a lot of places where you can find free, real-life backgrounds, but I feel like they look weird when using them as Episode backgrounds. Does anyone know of a website or app that can place filters or “cartoonify” the background to make it more like the backgrounds we find in the Episode art catalog?

i haven’t tried any myself but i watched a video on YouTube by Joseph Evans where he creates his own backgrounds. he uses a website called gimp i believe and he made his background look more cartoonist for episode.
