Okay this is hard to explain but in my story there is the mc(Hale) and then the reader. The reader can customise them self and the readers character will basically be like another mc. And i need the reader to help Hale with finding her guardian devil. (People with red eyes are born with a guardian devil not an angel) The reader also has red eyes and hale hasn’t met anyone else with red eyes before and that’s why she asks for the the readers help. Also Spike(Hales guardian devil) gets upset because Hale gets mad at him so that’s why he goes missing.
This is what i need help with-
Where could reader and mc meet?
Why did Hale get mad at Spike?

Honestly, they could meet anywhere. If Hale is desperate enough, she could just run into the MC at a grocery store and go “WHAT, YOU HAVE RED EYES TOO, YOU UNDERSTAND GUARDIAN DEVILS, SO YOU NEED TO HELP ME”
Why Hale is mad at Spike could vary. She could resent herself and her own nature for giving her a guardian devil instead of an angel.
Spike may have a personality that just isn’t compatible with Hale’s, and she finds him too difficult to deal with.
Either Hale or Spike could have not upheld their end of a mutual deal.
Either Hale or Spike could have done something without consulting the other, and both could consider it a betrayal of trust in one another.
Either Hale or Spike could have lost faith that their partnership was beneficial.

Also, Hale can also say: r u wearing contact lenses? the MC could respond um no, they’re natural, etc etc
