How’d YOU meet Episode? 🤔

So I decided to open a thread all about our experience with Episode such as how we met the app…and some fun questions regarding it!

My Experience: When I met Episode it was summertime and I was laying down playing a cooking game, and I saw my sister on her phone and she seemed she was reading something and so I leaned over (It was a bunk bed) and when the chapter seemed to finish I saw the Episode logo, so I chose to check it out on the App Store and that’s when I began reading and soon after that a message popped up on the main page where the episode logo was, where it said “Check out our writers portal” (which is how I began writing) a few years past and I was still messing with the game until I chose to really settle down and write something and so I did, but when I realized soon enough that maybe writing should wait because I also had this passion to create stuff, and I did, I created custom backgrounds, overlays, custom poses etc… so I chose to put my writing stuff aside until I felt it was the right time. And now here I am, I’m still currently trying to pursue my passion of creating things.

As an episode ‘artist’ although I’m hardly and artist :joy: I just love the platform, it’s a place to share my creations, meet new people, and extend my skills!

I also found episode, back when the episode started! I’m an OG :nail_care::nail_care:

Lmao I’m pretty sure it was through an ad, I don’t remember a lot. But I was an episode addict for a good 2 years or so.

I remember, it was elementary school and I had seen an advertisement and decided to check it out. I was so obsessed with the classic stories and I started to experiment with writing my own.

As an artist, I don’t really think I am a GREAT one, but I love sharing my work with others and inspiring others!

Ah thank you for tagging me in this! This is actually really interesting to talk about.
I remember the summer of me going into middle school, I kept on seeing these ads for Episode. My friends suggested that I play this one story, The Teacher (a classic according to my friends lol) so I checked out and found out that the app is actually full of amazing works of art! I got a couple of my friends into it and even some of my family! To how I met episode is not that interesting, but rather how I started writing. It was the end of seventh grade that I found the writer’s portal. I had no idea how to code, but I did love writing. I met someone in my english class who loved Episode and writing as much as I did, and during English class we would talk about creating a story. lolol
I’m a sophomore in high school now and literally nothing has changed. I have got into doing some edits, which are really fun to make.
note- we would always get in trouble hahah but it was all fun

I am literally an outsider of the world, didn’t know what fanfictions/episode or a lot of things excited.

My bff who is updated in the world (like my entire family! I feel like I’m the only one in my family or friends group who doesn’t know shit about the world) told me about the app episode.

And I got it! Before I got, I just watched episode videos on the internet. And finally decided getting it might me worth it :nerd_face:

It was the end of the school year when I was in 8th grade. I was bored af and I remember my friend at the time telling me about this app she would use in the past called “Episode.” I was so bored, so I decided to check it out and ended up liking it :woman_shrugging:t4:

It’s been 3 years now :eyes:

I’m an editor and a writer…

I don’t know why I wanted to be an editor in episode but I became a writer…because I love writing and would write a story on literally any app!

Oh well…I just found episode kinda last year around christmas! Was just playing some random game and then at the end, an ad of episode appeared. I found it quite intriguing, especially the part that they were “choices” in it. So just thought of installing it and finding out what it was all about. And I gotta say- it was much better than I had ever imagined! I’ve been simping over it ever since :33
Quite soon, I also came to know of the community and had to have a look at it! Joining the community acc ended up in me coming to know of digital art and other stuff. I’d say im newbie but yet It’s been like 7 months :sparkles:
