But getting back on topic, my biggest problem isn’t that black people can have pink lips. I mean, sure. You can get black people with naturally more pink lips and lipstick is a thing.
My problem is that the current lip tones for LL all look strange and abnormal on black characters.
While we are on the lips, Episode doesn’t have enough lip colors for dark-skinned characters. There’s so many lip colors but not all of them fit all of the skin colors. And in general, there’s no lipsticks… what kind of a world is this
Anddddddddd I just remebered something else, there’s a darker black hair color called Ebony Black but its not something community authors can use yet. It is in Instant Princess and has a much better undertone than this crappy gray undertoned Dark Black

This is why they need to hire Blacks and other POC. Though there are some Asians on the team, I’m surprised they haven’t contributed to representing others and themselves. Only a little bit. 
It’s like… none of them look pink. They look ashy and all the colours seem to make lips lose their outline when characters have darker skin tones
That’s what my mother said: It looks too wrong and dry. She said herself it looks to weird and they made them wrong.

One of my Nigerian friends wears a colour kinda like this on a daily basis, but it actually looks good on her.
A lot of the brighter lipsticks in LL look like the old blackface lips

It’s sad that most people don’t realize how much harder it is for writers who want diversity, probably because most stories (especially featured) throw in a single token black character (usually a stereotype and call it diverse)
and to be completely real with you guys i never realized how much of a problem it is until I started writing my story which is set in my own country (which is 90% black)
Yeah it’s bad and really sad for an app that claims to be sooooooo diverse
