Wow thanks
Thanks…
Of course!
ART JOURNEY
My art journey started out when I was a little girl. I’ve always been the artist in my family. even though my art mainly consisted of stick figures with two strands of hair and a triangle dress and no arms
Eventually, my parents signed me up for art classes which was how I learned a lot of techniques for traditional art.
It wasn’t until last summer when I discovered this place called the forums. Here, I saw many very talented artists and was when I sparked my interest for digital art. I wanted to try it out so I searched up on YouTube on how to do episode edits. There, I stumbled across Nighty’s video where I discovered IbisPaint X, an amazing app for people looking to start digital art. Nighty’s Video
I continued to make edits on Ibis whenever I had free time up until December 31, 2018. That was when I downloaded procreate and made my first edit on there. It was a whole new experience and took some getting used to, but I was happy with it!
ART GROUPS
When I first opened a pfp shop, it was so horrible! Find it here Not on the customers’ part… On mine. I just took coloring book outlook news from the internet and colored them. I’m ashamed of it now and wish to forget all about it . But, I surprisingly was invited to join a group called @Episode-Diamonds. You all will be surprised when I say that I declined their offer. I don’t know why but I just didn’t feel like it… That group I believe also had @Ankita (an amazing artist I’ve had a few discussions with and is super nice) and @epy.kalea (also a stunning artist). Over time, I got invited to a few other groups but declined all of them. I believe in November 2018, I got the idea to collab with a few close friends to make an art group, and that’s where @Episode.Savvies was born. We opened up and created amazing art as a team!
ART PROGRESSION

Awwe that’s such a cool journey!! So much more cooler than mine wow!!
I wanted to draw because I had a lot of silly ideas and I needed an outlet for them. We never had the money for good stationary, nevermind sketching pens and pencils so most of my work was done at school. I loved doing anime and game characters that i liked but my original characters started forming when i was about 8
Those are the earliest drawings I have on my phone right now, I’m actually planning on redoing those. I started out pencil and paper but nowadays i go digital because colouring is scary when there’s no undo button.
I think I’ve gotten better in the past… 13 years (yikes), but I’ve still got a long way to go!
Aww those are amazing art pieces! Love your way of drawing!
Sorry, I wasn’t in that group. I’ve only been in a couple of groups on Instagram, but never on the forums. But wonderful and inspiring story!
Thank you (/^o^)/
Oh yeah I have my personal teacher at school! She’s an amazing artist and was also one of those to inspire me also she’s easy to talk to since she’s around my age lol.
Oh I remember one of your outlines being colored in their examples… Maybe it was someone else who colored your outline
. Thank you though! I look to you as one of my idols who inspired me to keep going with my art as well
I drew on paper when I was like, 4 or 5 (all the way until like 12, then I stopped for a bit). I’d literally go through stacks of paper drawing these childish interpretations of people. (AKA. Deformed figures with strange body proportions, I was such a paper waster )
I’m currently testing out drawing realistic digitally. I suspect it shouldn’t take too much time for me to learn, although I don’t usually have the time to be drawing.
- Omg… (probably going to be said 30 times, lol) that story would have been perfectly fine without meeeee.
- Of course I am!! I frickin love your art so much! I’ve seen so much improvement meant with it. I see it even more now…
- It’s aleays great!! Your very first drawing as a kid is better then mine rn…
- GIGANTIC THANK YOU!!!
That was an amazing story. Now I just have to practice and see if my art will ever be as good as yours. T-T
My art journey probably started when I was a little girl. I always loved doodling and spent hours drawing on my hand.
When I was about 10, I got more serious at art and practiced a lot more, I used to colour in adult colouring books all the time. This was traditional art, however.
When I was 12, I started digital art on a program called Brushes Redux. They weren’t very good but I loved my art there anyways
This September I found the Episode Forums and was insanely hooked. I’ve always loved to edit episode characters but never draw them. Here, I found much better programs for digital art like Ibis Paint X. I’d like to say I was inspired by so many people to improve, whilst also continuing my realist art.
This December I downloaded procreate for my realistic art and moved to it for my episode art this Feb.
I also joined Instagram in late Feb and I’m happy to say I now have over 700 followers, which is insane. This helped me to get more inspiration on how to improve.
Just wanted to say I would not be where I am if it weren’t for these forums and episode as a whole.
Some of my inspirations are below
@Cassandra_Dean just beautiful
@Turtle_Cat My queen
@Dayaepy You know what I mean
@PerplexedJam Hands down the best artist for realism ever
@Killerfrost Your edits are just gorgeous
If anyone is interested, I also do realism. This is my most recent piece using Oils
Oof, I’ve been stalking your art for so much longer I’m afraid
Omg u r amazing!!!
I guess i was in love with drawing since i was young…so yeah…i also love doing fashion designing in portfolio…here r a few of 'em…
This one is my first canvas…
It was my hobby since i was 12
I used to draw portraits of my friends and teachers
I draw by hand
I love it. But I could only pencil sketch. There is a girl at my school, who draw portraits (but not realistic) in color. So, the whole class loved her paintings. My paintings became unpopular. So, out of rage, I burnt my first ever portrait, which was of my bestie. But after that, my bestie encouraged me to draw, and eventually, I won the 1st prize in the inter school painting contest. Still now, I paint.
I never did digital art.
Even if I did digital art, i would still love my portraits and pencil sketch
