How did your parents meet?

The title says it all!
How did your parents meet? How did they fall in love? Is it like the way King Harold and Queen Lilian from Shrek 2 met? Or some other way? Have fun talking about it and remember it’s totally optional to discuss <3

:joy: I love when my mom told me how her and my dad met. So like she went to this little house thingy with her friends and at the time she was dating some other dude, and they were planning on getting married and whatnot. So my dad saw my mom and really wanted to talk to her, so they started talking and my dad asked for her landline and my mom gave it to him but was like:”I’m not trying to start anything I have a boyfriend.” And that just blah with my dad but they were all joy riding in my mom’s car and she was mad at him but had fun. So later on a few nights. My dad called my mom and they talked and he asked her out but my mom refused. So then my mom and her current boyfriend got into this huge fight and broke up. So like two months later my dad called her back and was like:”well I heard you’re single.” And my mom decided to give my dad a chance. And yeahhhhhhh my mom was 18 and my dad was 19 and badaboom I think I was somewhat created and my mom deicided to still date my dad so it was me my mom and sometimes my dad then we ended up moving in with him and they got married when I was 5 before the birth of my other sister.

I really do I just love it and how my parents married pretty young but still strong with each other just made me feel amazing.

My parents’ marriage was “arranged” as well. One party was in agreement, and the other party not so much :thinking: Hmm, it’s kinda complicated, I don’t know how to put it, I hope I worded it in a understanding way :joy:

So my dad was looking for a wife and then my mom met him… Soon in 1996 they got married!
