How do artists change the call colors of backgrounds?

Is there any apps people use to change background wall colors?… I want to do that, but can’t figure out how?

I mean, most editing software (gimp (free), Krita (free), photoshop (not free), etc )have a colorize/color changing feature. For Gimp, you just free select tool the part that you want to change and click color > colorize and pick whatever color you want.

Idk if there are, like, phone apps that can do it, though.

Sorry I couldn’t be more help. But there are free softwares that you can download that can do what you want. They take a little practice but, trust me, if I can do it**, you can :smiley:

If you are unable to download computer software, you can always post in the Art Resources and ask that someone do it for you :slight_smile:

Yesssss I was trying to change the Ice bath wall background to black. I get a little nervous to ask an artist to do it. I’d give a lot of credit for it, because I know I can’t even do it myself. I’m making my story on mobile😭.

1- softer black, a little shiny-er looking, 2 is kind of middle of the road between warm grey and black and 3 is a more bold black color. :slight_smile:
