How do I get better quality images of my characters

Does anyone know how I could get better quality images of my character? It sucks so bad that when I’m making a poster, and after I cut out my character’s image and put it in, it kinda ruins it cause it’s so blurry

I just takes pics on writer’s portal while my characters are doing the post I want them to btw

Anyone have tips??

I usually screenshot them and I have an app that takes the background out but keeps them clear.
