Hello!
For a scene in my story, how do I get multiple characters to all react at the same time?
I’ve tried the ‘@’ and ‘&’ command but it doesn’t seem to work.

&CHARACTER is animation and CHARACTER is animation
You can use:
@CHARACTER is _______ and CHARACTER2 is _______
or
&CHARACTER is _______ and CHARACTER2 is _______
that’s what i said lol
I know I just didn’t see you answered until afterwards.
Does it work for more than two characters?
@CHARACTER is animation AND CHARACTER2 is animation
And while the narrator or a character is talking:
&CHARACTER is animation AND CHARACTER2 is animation
yes
Yeah, just keep adding ‘and CHARACTER’ and you can use as many as you want.
Thankyou!
& should work and you do not need to use AND (it’s not wrong to use it this is just alternative)
When you use & the rule is that all lines with & happen with the line with @ or dialogue UNDER it.
So if you want 4 characters do the animation in one time using & you write
&CHAR1 is animation
&CHAR2 is animation
&CHAR3 is animation
@CHAR4 is animation
My opinion is that using & is better than AND for one big reason - the longer you make the lines the more impossible it becomes to find a typo or mistake in it or to modify it.
But is more a matter of personal preferencies.
I would use too the & command. It’s much easier and tidier.
&CHAR 1 is animation
&CHAR 2 is animation
&CHAR 3is animation
@CHAR 4 is animation
But both “and” and “AND” work the same.
