How do I get multiple characters to react at the same time?

Hello!
For a scene in my story, how do I get multiple characters to all react at the same time? :smiley:

I’ve tried the ‘@’ and ‘&’ command but it doesn’t seem to work.

& should work and you do not need to use AND (it’s not wrong to use it this is just alternative)

When you use & the rule is that all lines with & happen with the line with @ or dialogue UNDER it.

So if you want 4 characters do the animation in one time using & you write

&CHAR1 is animation
&CHAR2 is animation
&CHAR3 is animation
@CHAR4 is animation

My opinion is that using & is better than AND for one big reason - the longer you make the lines the more impossible it becomes to find a typo or mistake in it or to modify it.
But is more a matter of personal preferencies. :wink:

I would use too the & command. It’s much easier and tidier.

&CHAR 1 is animation
&CHAR 2 is animation
&CHAR 3is animation
@CHAR 4 is animation

But both “and” and “AND” work the same.
