How do I keep a character doing an animation for a while before it fades out?

Hi! I am trying to have characters dancing for a while but then it fades out to black too fast and you can barely see that they’re dancing! How do I keep them doing it for longer?

@CHAR1 is dance_groove_loop AND CHAR2 is dance_groove_loop
@pause for (time)
@transition fade out black in 2
