How do I make my background stay still?

I made a background image that is the same as my cover photo. If I put the image in the beginning of my episode how do I make it to the image for a few seconds before changing to the scenes?

I’m not sure if I understand what you mean, I think what you want is for the background to just stay as is for a few seconds, but correct me if I’m wrong. If this is what you want to do then all you have to do is add the line @pause for 3 after the background. 3 would be the number of seconds you are pausing for, so you can change that number. Let me know if this is what you meant!
