How do I make my character already be there?

Hey ppl,
In my story I want there to be a neww background and I want the new character to already be standing in their positions, so what should I do?

@NAME stands wherever you want them to

If you have a lot of characters better use & instead of @

&CHARACTER1 stands screen position
&CHARACTER2 stands screen position
&CHARACTER3 stands screen position
etc.
