I’d rather create my own own backgrounds, covers, and other art. But I don’t know a good, free software to use online that doesn’t have to be downloaded. I want to be able to edit and add characters in my cover, edit my own backgrounds, and draw my own art scenes if needed. Any suggestions that will allow me to do all of that? (Also, I’m using INK and I can’t save my character as an image without it coming out completely blacked out)

If you don’t want to download anything, I would say you use Pixlr. It’s a website, and all it requires is Flash.

Pixlr, or maybe even stuff like Picmonkey? It can sometimes help with filters and text and stuff.
