How do i start in a zone 3 automatically?

If you want the scene to automatically take place in zone 3, then it would be:

Ex.
INT. BACKGROUND
@cut to zone 3
#place characters
#scene here

But I probably should have explained it better

And while & and @ differs (you can read more about them here to understand it): https://www.dara-amarie.com/script-symbols-commands just note that:

&cut to zone 3 = @cut to zone 3

Why?

Jump straight to a zone in a change of scene

There’s no difference between @cut or &cut. A “cut” command has no beats so using either sign doesn’t matter.
