How do people do that ink duplicate thing with mirrors?

So by the title i need help i want my character to show on this overlay

and i need to know how to add my character to the big mirror

if you’re trying to show your character AND their reflection in the mirror, then you’d have to create another character that looks exactly like the original, and use layering to get them behind the mirror

but how would i do that? i know how to like “duplicate” my character but how would i layer it?

well your original character would be on layer 3, the mirror overlay on layer 2, and the copy of the character on layer 1
