I never really understand how does one participate in those. I know that one just happened but if I were wanting to participate in the next one what do I do?

It happens on episode’s official instagram. They post asking about stories, sometimes they ask for stories fitting a theme or from asian/latino/african authors. People comment each other’s stories and episode chooses from there.
