Basically the title; do you prefer one by one main and side character introductions or no introductions and basically a show dont tell approach - or somewhere in between.

Definitely show don’t tell, I like to create my own opinion on the characters. I don’t want the author to tell me how a character is I want them to show me with their actions and their behaviour.
