I’m not exactly sure tbh but I believe for them episode just picks stories they have read (don’t quote me on this I’m not completely sure) but for contest shelves u have to enter get a certain amount of reads and get chose for the shelf I believe (again I’m not 100% sure)

episode take sugestions on their instagram here, sometimes, but they have to ask for them, dont ask so often though, right they ask for stories for new year new me shelf, but keep an eye open for a shelf fitting yours, and please dont suggest if it doesn’t fit your story.
