How do you make a smooth animation?

I’m curently writing a story and can’t manage to figure out how to do a smooth animation without it looking choppy. Does anyone have any pointers on how to use good animations with a speach bubble?

Here is what I have:

It looks good until I have to change the annimation.

What I would do, first line:

MOM (talk_arms_crossed_angry)
What do you think…
@MOM starts arms_crossed_angry
ABBIE (talk_angry)
What is supposed to mean?..
@ABBIE starts arms_crossed_angry
etc.

add talk animation every time when characters is talking :slight_smile:
