Hi!
How do you make the characters talk in the background? Stories like ‘attracted to the nerd’ does it.
I tried using the ‘&’ command plenty of times, but it doesn’t seem to work! Can anyone tell me how to do it?

What exactly are you having hard time to do?

The spotting, animating, etc

I never eve heard about this story but it doesn’t matter tell more details about the problem/ error so I can try and help

Hiya!

I believe you’d do it like:

(AT)CHARACTER is ANIMATION and CHARACTER2 is ANIMATION

So if you have a main character talking and you want background you’d do:

INT. BACKGROUND - DAY
(AT)CHARACTER2 stands screen POSITION and CHARACTER3 stands screen POSITION
(AT)CHARACTER2 is ANIMATION and CHARACTER3 is ANIMATION

(repeat all steps above for how many characters you want to have talking!)

(AT)MC enters from POSITION to screen POSITION
