How do you proofread?

Do you consider the mobile previewer easy to use and over-looking?

Yeah, I had my sisters and my friend preview my story before I published.

I’m mostly using my Laptop previewer as of now since I lost my phone and the previewer on the iPad cuts off a lot of the screen  But it’s basically the same thing, so yes, I think it is really helpful and I wouldn’t survive without it.

That’s really true! Good to see things from a different perspective.
I’ve been writing my 1st chapter for 2 weeks now! :woman_facepalming:t3::flushed: I’m really trying to make sure that my branches work and that everything runs smoothly

You can zoom out, I personally like to have tablet readers not miss-out on anything

That was the one thing I could never due, since I use tons of overlays and zooms, and individually place each speech bubble. I might go back and make it so Tablet and Ipad users can actually read my story.

I am a tablet reader myself and I miss so much when reading day to day
Tho I also have some animations that they won’t be able to see!

Yeah, I read most stories on my Ipad since my phone is always dead, so I’m basically leaving myself out lol.

Whenever I proofread, I take notes on this note app where it has everything I can use to organize it. I take notes based on character development, plot sequence, tempo, tone, grammar, directing, mood, syntax, etc. and then once I finish, I go in order from what I first noticed to the last. I do the negative/ improvements of the story, and then I do the good parts last.
And yes, I’ve definitely read my own story. I do it mainly to try to be in the viewpoint of my audience to try to see if there’s anything I need to change. I also do it to see if my story is bad? If I’d read it because I don’t wanna write a story I don’t even wanna read lol

Woooof, that has a lot of steps

You don’t. You get someone to do it for you

I proofread Episode stories, as well as things on my own. (College essays, articles, papers, etc.)

I know, but some scenes would feel awkward to phone readers because the zoom is weird
But I’m at least trying to place all the speech bubbles and characters so that tablet users can see them, I think they still would be able to understand the story (:

Yeah me too!
I have this scene with a banner at the top of the screen, and there’s just so much going on, I can’t place it so that tablet users can see it!

Exactly and even though, as a tablet reader, I know how much a person can miss on the tablet, there are just way more readers on their phone and sometimes with all my overlays it just won’t work out. Good luck with your story though, you can message me if you have any other questions (:

I’m just glad to see I’m not the only one who tries to make stories suitable for tablet but sometimes doesn’t (lol hope that makes sense)
