As far as bullies and trolls, they are rampant.
Rare to find someone who is genuinely there to help you. Especially on the internet due to the ability to be anonymous. That’s why people are quick to flag or have groupthink in this forum, for example, instead of being helpful or resist being judgmental from varying opinions/perspectives.
The culture of I need to be correct at all cost, and I only consume content that I agree with, so you come across a lot more close-minded folks that are self-righteous. It doesn’t help that the Episode community tends to be more immature, in my opinion—lots of factors on this forum that increase your chances of running into Negative Nancies.
That’s my two cents on bullies. Just don’t sweat it because you don’t know or need to get to know them.
