How does the coding for point system like friendship and love for the same character work?

Okay, yeah, that clears things up :smile:

So now, I would recommend doing this (sorry I keep changing things :grimacing:): instead of creating two characters called LOVE and FRIENDSHIP, create two characters called FRIENDSHIPDEAN and FRIENDSHIPANEESH.

Since the MC can only gain love points with the LIs, you could add those points directly to each LI. For example:

choice
"One"{
@DEAN +1
#CODE SCENE
}"Two"{
@ANEESH +1
#CODE SCENE
}

When you code friendship points, you add them to these new characters:

choice
"One"{
@FRIENDSHIPDEAN +1
#CODE SCENE
}"Two"{
@FRIENDSHIPANEESH +1
#CODE SCENE
}

Now, when you show the total points at the end of the chapter, do it like this:

NARRATOR
You have [DEAN CODE HERE] LOVE points with Dean.
You have [FRIENDSHIPDEAN CODE HERE] FRIENDSHIP points with Dean.
You have [ANEESH CODE HERE] FRIENDSHIP points with Aneesh.
You have [FRIENDSHIPANEESH CODE HERE] FRIENDSHIP points with Aneesh.

That way you only create two characters instead of four (two for each set of points).

Ok that makes more sense. Let me delete the extra characters and make new ones
