So, I have started learning art and well, this is my first artwork. I would like your opinion on how it is and what I need to improve, etc.
This is basically the artist who I referenced this art from,
This is the one I drew.

Wow itâs good for your first time! Youâre a natural
One thing I would suggest though is to take out the brown eye outline, and use a semi-transparent pen to draw shadows (not like under, but directly on the eyes.) this kind of gives it a âdepthâ illusion
Idk why it was flagged but anywaysâŠ
I think your drawing looks amazing!!
It looks so detailed and Iove the hand! So pretty!!
I will that in mind, thank you.
Thank you for lovely compliments.
Please include the image you referenced and credit the artist for it too. It might be the reason for your post to be flagged
Itâs not traced, itâs heavily referenced. Thatâs fine for a beginner tho, bc theyâre still learning. But, if ur gonna share a heavily referenced art work, u might wanna credit the original artist. In future, use lots of references to create a final art piece, thatâs what most artists do so their art doesnât look traced/copied ![]()
I didnât Trace the pic, pls learn to respect.
I basically didnât knew that though
I will keep that in mind.
Thank you
I didnât check that it was made by an artist though I will keep this in mind.
Exactly
I would say the same as juliewrites, soften up the brown lines and except that it looks AMAZING
Moved to Art Resources since this is art-related. Make sure to check out our Forum Tutorial for more info about creating topics, and feel free to PM me if youâve got questions.
Iâm no artist at all, but I recommend using finer brushes for more detailed parts of the appearance and maybe focus a little more on the tiny details

(ex: the girl has some blush and highlights around her nose, chin, fingers etc + very fine eyebrow hairs)
you only get better not worse, lots of potential here.
This is referenced And they clearly state that they are learning and its a portrait study. They have not profited financially from it. Private dm this person if you have an issue thanksđ
They claimed it that before she edited her post. It wasnât referenced earlier; thatâs why
Add more shading is all
Thank you all for your opinions and compliments I appreciate them all and will do the changes as mentioned.
Well you donât have to be rude about it, I didnât know or I would have done it by myself.
I wasnât talking to you⊠but okay. Sorry
