How long should a gem choice be? Especially if it’s an “extra” scene at the end of the chapter?

3-5 minutes, that my preference. I wouldn’t want to (and never well) spend gems on a 30 second scene. (If it is the end)

I agree that 3-5 minutes is a good and fair amount of extra time. Two minutes could make it depending on the content, but anything other than two minutes is likely to leave readers feeling ripped off.
