It honestly doesn’t matter. I read a story that was 3 chapters long and loved it. Personally, I prefer 7-10 just so I can get through it relatively quickly, but there’s plenty of people who would love to play through super long games. (Plus, having that many chapters means you can get tons of reads really easy.)
