Do you have an ABI (acquired brain injury) too?

Although I’m much better off than I was in that first month, or indeed the first year, it will be a long slow (and non-linear) recovery, and I know I won’t ever get 100% back.

Episode seemed a good fit because I have some experience writing in animation. However, I just wrote the shows, I didn’t have to figure out how to animate them too, until now.

I adapted a feature film script I wrote “What Is This Thing Called Love?”, a romantic comedy, to Episode. It’s out now.

I started other stories when I got here, seeing the incredible possibilities of this medium, but I haven’t continued them owing to my frustration with coding and my own brain issues.

I found a writing partner on this forum, and now we’re building a story based on his concept, that I’m doing most of the writing for, and he’s doing all the directing. (And he’s talented too. I look forward to seeing each scene come to life.

Right now, I’m backing off from writing for Episode otherwise. Too much trouble for not a lot of reward. It’s hard for “small” authors to get noticed, and it’s a lot of work fishing for R4Rs.

I have been on/off in the community as a reader for the past six years. As a writer, likely for the past one. I think that it will always be a helpful way to receive immediate feedback of my writing in between writing novels. However, I recognize that I can’t get exposure as an Episode author, and the writing world is so much larger as a novelist. I think in five years, I’ll still be on Episode, just not full time.

Yeah, I been on here for about a a month now and been a huge Episode fan for about 4 years. I think about taking breaks but I be feeling like i be missing out on the good stuff(Besides not getting the gem choices options. but it’s good to hear you be staying in the community part time.

Thanks everyone for the feedback :heart:. I really appreciate how some will/ still/ are going to still have respect for episode when the leave/ stay/ or be a part time member in the community five years from now. It would be good to have some older people on the app in five years

In 5 years I’ll be 26, and I’ll probably be married and have a full-time job (that’s my goal, anyway), I might not have enough time. I was thinking that after I graduate college (a year and a half from now), that might be when I might be thinking of leaving, but we’ll see.

Yeah, I never thought, myself, would stay i the episode community at that age as well .but then again my life isn’t full of surprises so :woman_shrugging:t5:
