I prefer 1 LI. That way we can focus all the attention on them and not be torn on who to spend time with, also it’s much more ~realistic and relatable~ with me.

Whenever there are multiple love interests, I just make one of them super hot. I just immediately have them as the love interest O want to fall in love with. I find it useless to “explore” between the two. I just choose one in the beginning

That never happens lol. I do my best not to read any stories with horrible LI. And the author sometimes gives a short description before allowing customization to the LI’s, and I never chose the bad boy, or the one that seems more of a bad boy .

Let’s say hypothetically that happens in a story you were reading, how would you feel?

I’d be disappointed, but it’s fine. I would just go for the other LI. Looks don’t really matter lol, it’s fine. And if I do get a chance to customize, I’ll just swap their looks. No biggie. Or I’ll just stop reading, because I don’t think authors should include a manipulative, toxic, and/or hurtful LI, even if the LI changes, because that’s problematic, and I don’t like stories like those.

I think it honestly depends because the author might have a heavier focus on one LI over the other available LIs. That’s why I like the idea of choosing who you want to be with and who you want to romance yourself.
