How’s Do You Change The Display Name To The Name The Reader Chose?

Hey guys, I just have a quick question.
How do you change the display name to the name the reader chose?

This is your basic naming function: input What’s your name?|What’s your name?|Done(NAME)

So if you name your MC YOU (in the display name section of character creation), then put YOU in the function and the readers chosen name will appear on the speech bubble

input What’s your name?|What’s your name?|Done(YOU)

Yes, but you know when a character is talking, they have a name over the speech bubble? And in some stories they change along with the name the reader chose? What’s the function for that?

What I said will put the readers chosen name over the bubble. Are you asking how to add it later, like it starts out with the bubble blank?

No, thank you so much!

So you’re asking the reader to change the MC’s name?

You can change the display on the character settings:

But if you want the reader to choose, you need to put in the name choice like @Purple_Ghost mentioned:

SO, as i looked on Dara.Amarie’s thread, I just name MC “Name” and it changes I i put |Done(NAME)?

Yea. So if you used Done (NAME)

Then you need to put NAME as the display name for your character
