How to change opacity/stop a looping overlay?

In my story I used a looping overlay (opacity/changing position)

But later on through the scene I wanted the opacity to be 0 and it doesnt work …

what do I do ? :woman_shrugging:

send your code to the chat

Code :

&overlay STARS 5 2 opacity 1 in 0.4 THEN overlay STARS 5 2 opacity 0 in 1 loop INFINITE times
&overlay STARS 5 opacity 1 in 0.4 THEN overlay STARS 5 opacity 1 in 1 loop INFINITE times

Then a dialogue

&overlay STARS 5 2 opacity 0 in 0
&overlay STARS 5 opacity 0 in 0

But it kept on repeating the loop,
I also tried

@overlay STARS 5 2 opacity 0 in 0 AND overlay STARS 5 opacity 0 in 0

But it didn’t work :thinking:

You’ll have to remove the overlay and create it again. Once it’s in an infinite loop, it’s basically locked.

&overlay OVERLAY clear
@overlay OVERLAY create and overlay OVERLAY opacity 100% in 0
@overlay OVERLAY opacity 0% in 1
