basically what the question asks. I want the reader to have the option to view the bonus scene for free or choose to support me and read the bonus scene

So, either way, they get to see the bonus scene, right? You can write something like this.

    NARRATOR
The author has included a bonus scene (or whatever you want to say).
There is no mandatory gem cost to view the bonus scene.
However, if you would like to support me with 5 gems, that would be greatly appreciated.
