Hello! I’m currently writing my first story and I love how it’s coming along. My only problem is the cover art. I personally can’t afford to pay someone to make me a good cover and I don’t really have the skills to do it myself. I tried making a cover by taking a screenshot of my main characters but personally I think it looks a bit unprofessional? Maybe it’s because I don’t know how to edit the picture well enough. Does anyone have any tips on how to make a good cover pic? I’m not looking for something too professional. Just something to catch the reader’s eye.

I’d suggest looking into shops here on the forums, there are multiple shops that do edited or drawn (free of charge).
