🌺 HOW TO: Create A Table in Discourse + Extra Material 🌸

:hibiscus: Welcome :sunflower:

HOW TO UNDERLINE:

The tree has more swag than that bad boy sitting under it. Wait—that’s not not a motorcycle phone cover, it’s Barbie’s phone cover. LOL.

How it looks:

Crossing Out Text:

We fly all day and night. They asked us if we’re crazy. We are.

How it looks:

(For this one, we can see light pink behind the crossed out text)

I like crossing out text for fun.

I think way too much.

Highlighting your text green + Underlining it:

THIS is so cool!

Feel free to bold or italicize any of this.

Some Examples:

Looks awesome, doesn’t it?

Creating a table:

You can even highlight things in a table and underline them (as well as add another row or column):

JemU776 FlowerGriefer Pookieduke3 SilverKnight
Coder Background Creator YouTuber Editor
Writer Editor Writer Awesome
Helper Tulip Queen Video editor Sweet

How it looks (complex way + other info)

By the way, if you remove < thead> (no space between the < and t, the names will become gray. If you remove < tbody> (again, no space between the < and t) the gray line under the grayed out names in this example disappears.

Another Example:

Coder Background Creator YouTuber
Writer Editor Writer
Helper Tulip Queen Video editor
Evil Sweet Kind

Can also check out the discourse checklist tutorial HERE ; Discourse also has a Twitter, you can find a bunch of updates there. AND I encourage you to explore more about what you can do on the Discourse forums <3

BTW I know I repeated “not” twice in the first example above but I was too lazy to fix, also ignore the red squiggly lines under some of the names, it just means they’re being seen as incorrect English (only visible to the person typing) XD

P.S feel free to copy a table with three columns and three rows (3 by 3) from the google doc down below and paste it on the forums, changing the words to words you desire. Link:

Have a lovely day/night where you’re at and I realize this is a lot but don’t worry the post will always be here <3

Highlighting the background behind text +other helpful links ^^

EXAMPLE:

As you can see the bgcolor part stands for background color and color stands for the text color. You can change only the bgcolor or the text color or BOTH.

There’s another way, you can do this.

What you’d type:

What it looks like:

Basically three of these = *
to get a line

Really helpful!

This is cool! I should try this soon.

Hi, Jem I wanted to ask do you know a way of putting text over images in a thread?

Bump!

@LiveWriterOn could you give an example of what you mean? Thanks in advance :blue_heart:

Basically like having a blank image where you are able to code the text to be on the image like a background image. I thought maybe the Forums has this feature I’ve seen it on the Wattpad forums but not on here.

great news

Awesome!
Can you please add how to use font, size and colours.
I know the rules, but it doesn’t work out. So it would be good to see examples. Thank you.
