How to do overlays

Okay I’m so I need help on how to do overlays everything I watch or look up doesn’t make sense and I don’t understand how to do overlays so if anyone could help that would be AMAZING AND THANK YOU SO MUCH

In order to learn how to animate overlays and understand what the coding means, you’ll have to know how to spot direct. Do you know how to spot direct? (Like how to use the helper tools on the preview screen?)

Go watch Joseph Evans on youtube it’s very helpful. Especially when you are beginning.
