What am I doing wrong?
EXT. MG DINER - DAY with CAR ANGLE SILVER to 1.195 -1149 2 at layer 1
@ABSINTHE spot 1.280 -735 -188
@ABSINTHE moves to layer 0
@transition fade in
@pan to zone 2
You’ll pay for what you did to me, Destiny Taylor.
@DESTINY enters from right to spot 1.280 232 5 AND DESTINY is walk_sad_loop
@DESTINY moves to layer -1
(Why am I thinking about that again?)
(You had to do it.)
(There was no other choice, so stop thinking about it…)
(Focus on the case now.)
&DESTINY is deepbreath
@pause for a beat
@pause for a beat
&DESTINY is react_scream_horror
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER shifts to -308 -15 in 5 AND ABSINTHE walks to spot 1.280 -92 -167 in 5 AND ABSINTHE is idle
&DESTINY is idle_terrified_loop
@zoom on ABSINTHE to 250% in 2
(This is karma.)
(And karma, like you, is a bitch!)
@zoom on ABSINTHE to 100% in 2
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER shifts to 374 -161 in 4 AND ABSINTHE walks to spot 1.280 887 -303 in 4 AND ABSINTHE is idle AND DESTINY is faint
The overlay is not going off-screen, and the character is moving faster. It looks strange…
did you place your character in the car while offscreen?
only placing a character in the car will make them move simultaneously
I… tried to do that… Although I’m not sure what you mean.
I just played your script and it looks like this
she needs to be in the car if you want them (overlay and character) move at the same time
copy spots from there and see if this will work for you
So, the correct spot is 1.280 577 -306, and not what I wrote before?
Ok, thank you!
So how would this scripting look if you’re only using one character and not two?
I assume it’s all the same and just cut one character out right
Could you help me with this scene? The two people inside are moving faster than the car even though the timing is the same.
Here’s the script:
They need to be placed inside of the car while offscreen so they get to the spot at the same time as car
