🚗 HOW TO: Drive into / Drive Off the scene with Character inside

#140

you need to place your character in the car while it’s offscreen, you only used walks to spot command and didn’t place your character beforehand

#141

Ohhh, thank you!

#142

Bump! :blue_car:

#143

Im having a huge problem with the driving on screen and off of it

#144

What’s the problem? Did you read through my post?

#145

I saw a post about the car

I tried it one time and everything was good with the character inside then
I was stuck on trying to figure out how to move the car

Im really interested in knowing cause I would like to use it in one of the story

#146

PM me what you have so far

#147

I had but then I deleted it and did something else that was not a overlay. but I’m planning on using it in my next chapter probably and I’ll definitely let you know

#148

Let me know when you need help

#149

bump :muscle:t2:

#150

I don’t understand. Whenever I do the same time frame for my MC as well as the car overlay, the car always gets there on time but the MC is always late or early. Help!

#151

Did you use & instead of @ for the first command?

#152

no.

#153

I mean yes lol

#154

is your character inside the car when it’s offscreen?

#155

yeah.

#156

can you show your code?

#157

&MADDIE walks to spot 1.280 113 -138 in zone 2 in 3.595 AND MADDIE does it while idle
@pause for 1.45
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER shifts to -398 -5 in zone 2 in 3.0 using easeout
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER scales to 1.000 1.000

I added the pause because it helps

#158

can you post the spots where the character and the car are offscreen as well?

#159

@MADDIE spot 1.280 -347 -114 AND cut to zone 2
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER shifts to -864 -5
@overlay CAR ANGLE SILVER scales to 1.000 1.000
