How To Get Episode Reviews Quicker?

I am hoping this is the right place, it doesn’t seem to fit anywhere else, does anyone know how to get Episode to review stories quicker? I have 2 stories that have made it in the top 100 twice for a minute (literally) and I am wondering if they aren’t staying because of the review needed, I am not worried about either story they are both in the guidelines, but it stinks to know you could have a top 100 but because Episode hasn’t gotten to it, it is pushed back to the rear.

I think this would fit in Episode fan community.

Anyways—reviews are so random, it’s irritating. They claim all contest entries that fit retention requirements get reviewed, but many were left unreviewed when they definitely fit requirements. So really it ruins your chances of ever ranking until being reviewed, and in which case all you can really do is, unfortunately, wait (or submit a ticket, in which you’ll probably get a generic response anyways.

I agree it’s also even more frustrating with the new criteria for writers payments, if your story always gets pushed to the rear, it barely gets reads, therefor it runs the risk of never ranking, and you run the risk of always being out of reach of the payment program…
UGH it’s giving me a headache LOL

You are lucky if you haven’t gotten a review but have made it to top 100.
If you get to the top 100s 3 to 4 times, you get noticed and they will send you an email after they have reviewed your story so you could correct any errors.

Note that they may have noticed your stories already so be checking your emails in case you get one from episode, because they usually request you reply them within 3 to 4 days or else they will remove your stories if you haven’t corrected the mistakes (Literally happened to my friend).

Now if they haven’t noticed your story despite you getting to the top 100s twice (which I highly doubt), update frequently, add gem choices for support at the end of your chapters, if you have art scenes make them gem choices as well, or provide the option to view sneak peeks at the end of each chapter for 5 or 8 gems (your choice), so you get higher chances of trending top 100s. The more you trend , the higher your chances of getting noticed, and the earlier you get reviewed so you get the chance to trend higher than you did the 2 previous times.

Hope this helped.

I do have gem choices in my stories, as well as a support the author option. I did get one of my stories noticed by episode and received the email and corrected the 3 questionable words that were not within guidelines… (LOL 3 literally) so now I am more dilligent in censoring bad words or not using them in general.

And even though they were #68 and #59 they didn’t show up as either in their given genres or on the trending section, I guess that’s why I think it’s bunk, if they actually were in their respective slots they might of had a chance of more reads, and even going higher/lower (however you want to look at it) but because they are blocked they are back to #127 and #156

They didn’t show up because they weren’t reviewed.
Once they get reviewed your story will be visible on the app when they get to top 100.
Keep an eye on your emails.
Be consistent about updating, now more than ever so you get reads and selected gem choices. The more frequently you get those, the more you trend and get noticed for review.

I don’t think that’s the case because my story showed up when it wasn’t reviewed yet. I just think other stories were in a higher rank than you so that’s why your story didn’t show on the app.

well according to trending one was #59 and the other was #68, so if that’s the case than the ranking system in broken.

You were just lucky.
Normally from what my friends that had passed the review many times before me explained, as well as what happened to me personally, if your story isn’t reviewed, you don’t make it to top 100s. You can make it once or twice then after that you don’t trend below 100, till you get reviewed.
It happened exactly like that for me
I made it to top 100s once, twice and that was it, till I passed the review and automatically started trending below 100.

How do you know when your story has been reviewed unless it has problems? Do they email after reviews even if it has no problems with guidelines?

Oh. Well for me, my story was normally trending below 100 once in a while, and eventually, that’s how it reviewed. Welp, maybe it’s different for us.

Since gems are the biggest factor in trending, maybe spend your own gems on your own story :woman_shrugging:t4: if others aren’t spending gems.
Maybe do a Gems R4R

For me, they reviewed the story and then emailed me.

what do you mean “us”?

I actually considered reporting my own story LOL since I know it’s within the guidelines, but I figured that was a bit much.

reporting? oh no don’t do that :sob: do you want your story deleted? because I think that’s what they’re going to do.

I don’t think they delete it, but it does go under review. I’m not going to do that, it’s stupid, but not as dumb as not allowing a story to trend in its rightful spot.
