HOW TO: Get the Certified Badge

First of all, I hope I’m in the right category but sometimes people are confused about how to get this badge:

I’m going to tell you how to get it as all other badges are straightforward on how the achievements work (and what they are) but this one is a bit fuzzy.

Here I go:

First, what you need to do is send @discobot a message (or you can write to him on this thread Hello Discobot! (Let's Play With Disco) although I’d suggest sending him a message instead so as not to spam this thread).

When you’re sending him a message, write:
@discobot display help .

And the bot will give you a list of options that look like this:

So, what you would write is the first option in PM:

@/discobot start new user (ofc, you’d leave out the / if you wanna tag the bot)

And what this would do is initiate a tutorial where Discobot teaches you a bit about how the Forums work (not gonna go into detail lol 'cause that’ll be Discobot’s job, but at the end of this interactive tutorial, you will get a certificate and earn the certified achievement)

Am I not supposed to have ‘Episode Community Member’ next to my name?

It’s people whose accounts were transferred from the old forums into this new one. If you joined the old forums, you’d have this title next to your name.

So, this is why you see some people having those three words next to their username.

But don’t worry, we are all Episode community members ^^
