How do you get the reader’s name to appear in the speechbubble?

#2

|NAME| I think??? Idk I’ve never done it before I know @Apes or @Dara.Amarie or @Purple_Ghost might be able to help.

If you change the character’s name and you want someone to address them then it goes like this.

BESTIE (talk_think)
[NAME] you coming?

The same way in toasters. Hope I helped!

Do this;

    NARR
What's your first name?

label first_name_input

input What’s Your First Name?|What’s Your First Name?|Done(FIRSTNAME)

if (FIRSTNAME is “”) {

    NARR
You do need a name...

goto first_name_input

} else {
continue
}

I want this to happen:

hqdefault

For the reader’s name to appear in their speechbubbble.

That will happen if you do it correctly.

To make it easier for you I’ll give you a hack. These are the steps;

  1. Go to your episode story.

  2. Open your episode.

  3. Look at the right area of the page.

  4. Click on “Script Templates”. (INK ONLY)

  5. Scroll down to find “Avatar - Female”.

  6. Click on it.

  7. Choose the assigned character you want the name to change of.

  8. Copy everything from the command " NARRATOR
    What’s your name? "
    to " } else {
    continue
    } "

  9. Get rid of everything else.

  10. Paste that on your script.

  11. You’re done!
