How to have a character laying down in a bed at the start scene?

Hi, I’m new at this and I need some help with having a character in bed a the start of a scene. The scene starts and the character is not in bed then the character pops in lying down in the bed. Can someone please help me, please thank you.

What background are you using?

In addition, if you’re using a transition, use & command, instead of @, before the transition.

&CHARACTER spot 1.280 160 0 AND CHARACTER starts LAYINGANIMATION

You will need to play about with the spot depending on your background.

Thank you very much but I tried the & command and the character was not lying in bed at the start of the scene. The scene I’m using is INT. DUMPY APARTMENT BEDROOM - NIGHT.

Here’s how the scene plays out

INT. DUMPY APARTMENT BEDROOM - NIGHT
@transition fade in black 2

@YOUNG AUBREY changes into YOUNG AUBREY_casual_sleepwear
&YOUNG AUBREY spot 0.565 153 396 in zone 2 AND YOUNG AUBREY faces right AND YOUNG AUBREY starts sleep_lay_uncomfortable_loop

Place the command before the transition

INT. DUMPY APARTMENT BEDROOM - NIGHT
@YOUNG AUBREY changes into YOUNG AUBREY_casual_sleepwear
&YOUNG AUBREY spot 0.565 153 396 in zone 2 AND YOUNG AUBREY faces right AND YOUNG AUBREY starts sleep_lay_uncomfortable_loop
@transition fade in black 2
