i would like to know how to add background characters- my base project temporarily is the author of a broken mind and this is one of the three jobs that the fmc has- and she works in a record store called dead topic- how do i add background characters and i feel bad for asking to be honest but that’s just how i am.

i have been reading since late 2014 early 2015 but i am new to the writing side of things episode wise, but i have been writing since 7th grade.

You spot direct the characters into the scene.
The way I go about it is to write code like this, when I am at the stage in the scene where I need to add background characters

F for female, M for male ( in this case.)
This way I add 18 different characters into the scene at once, and then I can place them, scale them one by one, and have it be a busier and more realistic scene.
Then I just let the generator make some very weird-looking characters and then edit them later.
Of course I only add this many extra characters in scenes where it makes sense. Most scenes I might have 6-10 background characters.
Once they are loaded in, you can spot-direct them using the helpers in the preview to the right.
