How to immediately cut to zone 2?

here’s my script:
INT. BEDROOM - DAY
@cut to zone 2

— but when i preview it, it goes to zone 1 first before it cuts to zone 2. how do i make it cut to zone 2 immediately once i change my background?

Is your script exactly like that, or do you have anything between the background name and the @cut to zone 2?

Try &cut to zone 2 and see if that works.
