In my story, the MC is at a club and she’s drinking but I want the readers to be able to pick the drink they want but there’s also a lot of removing and adding props so is there a way I can still let them choose? If so how?
NARR
What drink would you like?
choice
“Water”{
@add BLUECUP to CHARACTER
gain WATER
}”Whiskey”{
@add WHISKEYGLASS to CHARACTER
gain WHISKEY
}”Champagne”{
@add CHAMPAGNEFLUTE to CHARACTER
gain CAMPAGNE
}
#continue on with ur scene here.
if (WATER){
@remove BLUECUP from CHARACTER
}elif (WHISKEY){
@remove WHISKEYGLASS from CHARACTER
}else{
@remove CHAMPAGNEFLUTE from CHARACTER
}
#continue story here.
You can keep using the if/elif/else throughout for branching the different drink routes.
Also, I just typed in random drinks and random prop names. I don’t know what the props are called without looking at them.
Thank you so much!!!
No worries!
And if you only want to offer only 2 drinks, you can just remove the elif section and just have if and else.
