How to make a character walk from back to front

if you guys do not understand what I’m saying I mean when people have their character in the back of the background but make them walk to the front if you understand please reply, I’m a first-time writer.

Spot direct them with a small scale in the back and then spot direct with a larger or the ‘normal’ scale in the front with the time code.

For example:

@CHARACTER1 spot 0.550 221 491 in zone 1
@CHARACTER1 walks to spot 1.184 88 119 in zone 1 in 4
