How to make character act faster

In some episode stories, I’ve seen characters being able to perform action faster especially punching. Can anyone tell me how this is donw?

Other than running and walking, speeding up behaviors is not possible…

They probably do a lot of punching animations right after the other making it look like it’s speed up because they didn’t pause or wait a bit for the animation to end.
